Senior Portraits
It was a gorgeous Fall day in a gorgeous park in the beautiful Northwest – perfect for a Fall session! As I looked around I noticed 3 other photographers with their clients. I saw a bride and her handsome groom in his military dress uniform. 😉 I saw a beautiful family with their little ones and two golden retrievers and I was so grateful to be part of it!! I remember a time when I would see others doing what I wanted to do. 😥 But not that day – that day I was one of the photographers in the park. 😎 I’ve been doing this full time for two years now and I’m still so thankful everyday!
One of the things I’m thankful for is that my job provides opportunity to hang out with beautiful teenagers! Marijke is one of those gorgeously talented people. As she posed with her tuba, a tuba she has played since elementary school, I commented on how I had never taken a picture of a tuba before. 😆 Then she got out her skateboard and I commented that I had never taken pictures with skateboards before! This beauty was a gold mine for my portfolio! 😛 This girl, who wears heals and high tops, is talented! Her plans include pursuing a degree in engineering – watch out world her she comes!

While it wasn’t exactly {noon} – or anywhere near it- when I took this picture I figure it must have been {noon} somewhere… 😉

The effort it takes me to get this kid to allow me to take a selfie with him is of astronomic proportions! 20 attempts later this is the best one I could get. 😛 We made a quick trip south to watch Josh play soccer in Eugene on Saturday night. I have missed so much being a weekly soccer mom 😥 My heart is {full} anytime I’m with my boys!

Oh I get so excited when a client wants a photo shoot in Portland!!! So many amazing backgrounds to choose from! And with the gorgeous Fall {leaves} just making everything look even prettier! More on this beauty and her Senior session later this week! 😉
