Senior Shoot – Miss Brooke

Senior Shoot – Portland
DSC_7318-2Someone asked me recently if I ever wanted to shoot photo sessions in a studio. My answer is Nope! I’m 100% certain that individuals who shoot inside studios have a special gift and talent that I do not posses. Beyond that, the thought of having to stay inside, makes me shudder…

Having said that, there are certain benefits, to indoor shooting…

Brooke’s photo session was scheduled over a month ago and I had really been looking forward to it. Not just because I know and love her but because of the location she chose! So when I woke up to POURING down rain Sunday morning I was a tad bit discouraged. 😥

After a quick phone call the decision was to go for it! And I’m so glad we did! It would have been a cute session with umbrellas and rain but the rain actually stopped and we ended up with perfect weather!

Portland has always been my favorite city. I love it because within just a few blocks you can go from towering sky scrappers to .streets with lovely shops and then just a bit further you can be in the forest! And along the way you can stop by this lovely spot the Thurman Carriage Barn which dates from 1888.
