Looking for a Photographer?
Hi, if you need a photographer, I’m here to help. I began my business way back in 2013. I have learned a great deal over the past 12 years. Another advantage I have is that I grew up in this area and I know all the locations. Depending on your style and the season, I can find you beautiful blooms, tall grasses, brick walls, bridges, water, trees, views, beaches, bookshops, coffee shops, etc. Not only am I a photographer, I am also someone who loves to explore. I am always keeping my eye out for great locations to recommend.
What is a great location?
The location of your session is something we will need to decide together. As your photographer, I am always happy to make suggestions. If you called me today and said, “I’m looking for cherry, magnolia, lilac blossoms in the background, I am ready to offer several suggestions (including a gorgeous cherry tree right beside my studio that is moments away from bursting into full bloom!)
A great location is different for different people. Some like what a city location has to offer (stairs, variety of textures, gardens, water, interesting architecture, book stores, coffee shops…), others prefer nature. Others like to find waterfalls or views, or maybe they have a favorite park or a beautiful yard at home they want to use as their location.
A great location also means great lighting. Once we decide where we will shoot, then I, as your photographer, need to consider the lighting situation. Some places get dark early, some get busier at different times of day, and some places have amazing sunsets that we could incorporate into the session. The list is endless, and it is my job to guide you to the perfect place at the perfect time for your perfect portraits.

Hi, I’m a photographer
I would love to help you with your photography needs this year. I am excited about the sessions happening right now as well as the ones I’m booking for later this year. Reach out to me today, and we will begin planning your session right away. Below is an example of one of the sessions I did last week. It was so fun to use the beautiful flowers as a background to this soon-to-be graduate!
MacKenzie Class of 2025
After a really quite March April is starting off strong! I believe everyone was waiting for the trees to bloom! We had so much fun enjoying the sunshine and the flowers during Mackenzie’s grad session. I photographed her 4 years ago and I can’t believe she is ready to graduate high school already! She plans to pursue Architecture and has two Universities to decide between. Such an exciting time in life! I’m so glad she has these beautiful portraits from this exciting time in her life.
Next week I will share with you a couple of guys that I photographed in this same location last week. For some there is a concern that certain locations may be too girly for guys, especially if there are flowers involved. That is where having a professional photographer who has the knowledge of how to work with an area to fit different clients comes in handy!
Thanks for stopping by!
