I flew home late Monday night and was greeted by someone who looked like my husband but walked like an old man…When I left Jeff 4 days ago he had just injured his back by bending over and picking up his briefcase 🙄 Which I really shouldn’t roll my eyes at since I once did it just cutting my toenail… 🙄
Anyway, I’ve come home to be nurse to my poor hubby. Sadly his back had been steadily getting worse over the weekend. Apparently he was just holding on until I got here because he completely fell apart Tuesday morning and couldn’t even get out of bed! He’s a mess! I have never seen him in so much pain and I feel so helpless! I’m so thankful to the friends I have that I can call at 6:30AM and say HELP!! Tuesday was a difficult day for him and I feel badly because I know there is no quick fix and it is so frustrating to be sidelined like this! So far this morning seems to be better than yesterday. Prayers for my hubby would be appreciated!

After 3 {early} morning meetings – Monday morning was the one and only morning I didn’t have a 4am 7am meeting so I SLEPT in! And got up at 8:30 with only one thing on my agenda – WANDER 😆 I have to say my first impression of Cincinnati is very positive. While I was only restricted to how far I could walk (I went 8 miles on day!) Overall it seems clean, safe, lots of green space, and a cool mix of historic buildings with modern. Although, If you were the one living in the mansion built along the Ohio river in 1815 and had the high rise hotel lurking over your shoulder, you may not have the same attitude. 😐
This bridge is called “the purple people eater” Its a pedestrian bridge that stretches across the Ohio River.
