Surprise!

I love surprises…

But I’m rarely truly surprised… My radar is always up and I usually figure things out one way or another or at the very least suspect something will happen…But last night I was truly 100% surprised when my youngest walked through the door!  😀  😀  😀

My oldest will be coming home tonight and we will have a full house for a brief time and that makes this one happy momma!

Depth of Field {DOF} is the area of a photo that is in focus. This is decided depending on the aperture (Fstop) you choose. To  {DOF} can be used to increase the drama of a focal point in a picture.  Or just give it a more dramatic look to the picture. I love the way this picture turned out. I think it looks like a place at the beach but it is fact along a busy road out in Fisher’s Landing area. I truly couldn’t decide if I liked color or b/w better. So I through it out there on FB and I got pretty even responses neither was the overwhelming choice.  😉

Last year my {metal} picture included trespassing and a large railroad bridge. This year I decided to play it safer. 😉  I love these {metal} letters! I’m still on the hunt for larger version of these for my studio. But for now I am happy with these guys!
