Head Shot season is upon me.
I didn’t know there was such a thing. Apparently, there is. When I think about it, it makes sense. New year, new you right?!
As I glide into my 13th year as a business owner I think back on all I’ve learned. It’s a lot!!! One of the biggest things I did right was take it one step at a time. If there had been a way for me to see all I would need to do/learn in order to be the photographer I wanted to be I would have quit before I began. It would have been way too much!
One step at a time
Do I know it all? Absolutely not. What adds to the challenge is how everything is constantly changing! As soon as I master something it changes or there is a completely new way of doing it. Updates, new versions, innovations. It is never ending. While I enjoy learning new things I am frustrated when what I have learned (and learned well) has been discarded and made obsolete with the newest update.
Deep breath! One step at a time.
Hello New Year
What are you facing with this new year? Perhaps you need new head shots? I am here to help. I have a wide variety of backdrops and the ability to travel to your location. This week I had someone in the studio for headshots. She requested specific colors and styles and I was able to make it happen for her. Something that was on her to-do list is now done!

This weekend I will be at a real estate office shooting a branding session for a realtor team. They have a really cool office space that I am excited to work in.
Sprinkled among those sessions I also spent some time photographing a middle school basketball team and a brand new baby boy!

I love the variety my job offers. I’m looking forward to what is coming next.
If you are in need of a photographer this year I would love to help you with that. Here is a link to my pricing page –
