Here we go…

So I’m a praying girl…

I have become even more so over the past few years as life has taken me in a direction I could not have predicted…

And I’m excited at the direction I am headed but I’m not gonna lie, it can be overwhelming and down right scary at times!

But when you are praying for direction and things land in your lap there is only one conclusion… – God is answering prayers!

What I have definitely learned along the way is that however you may see your life going God may have totally different and BETTER ideas for you if you open yourself to His leading…

A few weeks ago a long time friend Kara McGhee who is an AMAZING artist (check out Kara McGhee Art on FB or karamcgee.com) called me up out of the blue and mentioned that she was looking to rent some space in a building in downtown Battle Ground…

Along with the space she was renting was an extra room and she wondered if I would be interested…

As I mentioned I have been praying…and one of the things I was praying specifically about was what direction my business should go…

So we went and looked at the space…

The front door from the inside – Kara and I will share this space her front office will be on the left (from this view) and mine will be on the right….

That’s right! I will have an office/gallery in downtown Battle Ground! Here it is! Its a lovely space that I will be moving SFP into August 2nd! The owners have some finish work to do and they are ripping out concrete,  pouring new sidewalks and fixing up the exterior as well.

So yes! I did it! I am committed to 6 months – I’m jumping in the deep end and we will see if I sink or swim…

It’s time for me to break out of my comfy bubble and push myself…

I do believe you can’t grow if your not scared a little…

What I mean by that is we should always be challenging ourselves and there should always be a little part of ourselves saying – “no don’t go there its too scary!!” – that’s how you know you should go…

My new business address will be 761 NE 1st Ave. Suite 101, Battle Ground, Wa 🙂 

I’m full into nesting mode…

I have found the perfect desk in a second hand store around the corner and I’m busy choosing and framing pictures for one of my walls (more on that later)

My first big event will be participating in First Friday on August 7 I would love to see you stop by! More details on that to come!

I am also preparing to launch a website which I hope will be ready at the same time.  When that happens my blog will be moving to the home page of my website 🙂 More info on that to come.

So obviously, because I now notice reading back, that I have repeatedly promised there would be more info to come…I will keep you updated as a forge ahead into the scary/exciting unknown (to me)!
