Any Favorite Snack

191/365

I am seasonal with my snacking…
Sometimes something salty is my {favorite snack}…

Most times something sweet is my {favorite snack}…

But in the summer time I love to snack on whatever fruit or veggie is in season…

I am the type that doesn’t even look at a cantaloupe except for the few delicious weeks they are in season…Which is sad because I LOVE THEM!
I also adore cherries! And we live in cherry country and when they are ripe I will gorge myself with them…besides the seeds are SO FUN to spit!!!

Loyal

Being a photographer requires a {loyal}ty to the calling…

If you aren’t vigilant it would be easy to sleep in, take the easy paved trail, not invest in the resources needed, stay in your comfort zone…

Sometimes (days) it is easier to stay {loyal} to my job than others…

But when you have the opportunity to explore a stunning area like Smith Rocks you get yourself out of bed before the sunrises and do it!!!

One lesson I learned was that it wasn’t really necessary to get up that early…

The geography of the area keeps the sunlight from hitting these rocks for sometime after the actual sunrise…

Because of the geography it makes some interesting shadowing on the rocks…

By the time the sun is high enough to cover the rocks evenly it is so bright that it washes the details of the rocks out…

Overall I found Smith Rocks to be a challenging place to photograph…

I would love to return with someone who could give me some pointers…

Yikes

(Yikes) this is the son of our classmates from college/high school!

If that isn’t a wake up call to how quickly time is flying by I don’t know what is!!!

This is such a fun wedding! The groom and his men rode in on bicycles!!!

There were so many fun interesting details to this wedding it was just lovely!

The theme – picnic in the park…

And it did feel like a picnic!

The bride and groom sat on a blanket during the reception and ate their burgers and pasta salad!

They choose to get married on the campus of the high school where there romance began back when they were freshmen! (Yikes)!!!

I had the joy of just sitting back and enjoying it…

It is very difficult to turn the photographer off in me and this wedding had so many fun details to shoot!

I intentionally left my camera at home, which was a good thing because I don’t think I would have been able to control myself!

When I’m not the photographer I enjoy watching the photographer…

It is fun to see the angles and shots they chose to take…

Yes, there are moments in life when we have a wake up call to the fact that it is racing by! I couldn’t help but see the similarities between my hubby of 26+ years and these kids…

Oh how time does fly by…

Next – A special Tuesday blog where I will make my announcement about SFP 🙂

Spread the love
