Summer Fun

I’ve been anxious about this summer…
My first summer without kids in the home…
No family vacation planned…

Would there be any {summer fun}?

But I have found a few things that have made it bearable….
Like ice cream…

Visits to see my youngest at the beach….

4th of July weekend was lots of fun when Ty was able to come home and spend the entire weekend with us!

A trip to see my other son – who had unexpected time off so we actually got to spend time with him (short but I will take it!)
Beautiful weddings and lots of friends…

This beauty was just a wee little one when I lived in Georgia and her Momma and I were good friends!  She is spending the next several months living in Portland as a traveling nurse.  Yesterday we had lunch and it was so fun! I look forward to being her personal tour guide while she is here!
So there has been some {summer fun} and I actually have more to look forward to!

Sleepy

So I realize I’m stretching the prompt {sleepy} a bit here…
But yesterday was a busy, running around sort of day and even when I was home my cat wasn’t {sleepy} so what was I to do?
I have noticed as I have participated in this 365 Project that the majority of participants are moms of little ones, and while I’m sure it is much more challenging to find the time in your day to take pictures of specific prompts they do have specific advantages with their adorable little ones as constant subjects!

And while I do have adorable kids…
They aren’t around…
Then I went out into my garden to check on things and noticed my pumpkins snuggled in their hammocks and I decided that would have to work for {sleepy}…
I have pumpkins so I will go with that!
Next: A Sign, Starts with B – I will be taking my 200th picture for this project on Sunday!
