Wedding Photographer

I am often asked if I photograph weddings. The answer is yes. Having the opportunity to help a couple capture memories from their special day is a wonderful experience. Photographing the carefully planned details as well as the wide scope of the day and everything in between is such an amazing experience. Unlike other photography sessions weddings cover all the bases. There are formal poses, candid moments, exquisite details and fleeting moments all to be photographed. I myself have now hired two wedding photographers. My oldest was married in 2020 and my youngest in 2022. I cherish those pictures. We often pull out the albums or take a minute to notice the photographs displayed in our home. What a gift it is to have such beautiful images from an amazing day. 

Wedding days go by so quickly! It’s insane how something that was often planned for over so much time, can come and go in the blink of an eye! No matter how many times we stop ourselves mid wedding and take a deep breath, tell ourselves to savor this moment, we still can’t hold onto it. The food is eaten, the flowers fade. We leave the venue and figure out what to do with all the leftover decorations. And then we wait a few weeks. We can’t wait to see the photographs! We can’t wait to share them with everyone!

Class of 2024

I taught high school history for many years. I’ve also raised two sons and experienced being a senior myself. The last half of the senior year goes by crazy fast! Here we are, on the backside of the year for the Class of 2024. Spring Senior Sessions are so much fun. Don’t forget to book your senior sessions in time for those graduation announcements. In addition to digital images there are other products offered. For example albums are so much fun to share at graduation parties. Albums are also something that is cherished and easily shared with friends and family throughout the years. 

Seniors come in all flavors! As a photographer I really enjoy having the opportunity to plan your session with you. I want to know what you want. What are your interests? What sounds cool and fun to you? Basically what is your style? Planning a session means more than simply booking the date. We will discuss all the details. Location is always a fun part of planning a session.  The location of your session will help us highlight the senior and their personality. Woods, water, art, food, cars, sport, bookstore, cafe, pets,  you name it! We will also discuss what you want to wear and any other questions that you need help with.
