We are all photographers

Here we are at the beginning of a brand new year.  What will unfold for you? It’s a big question. In many ways it’s an unanswerable question. There will certainly be surprises (good and not so good). Unexpected changes, opportunities will most likely come your way. Sometimes we feel like we have been derailed by unexpected change only to discover that change can turn into a good thing. 

When those big and small changes come along, how will you document them? A social media post complete with some images to share? By texting friends and family with the news? We live in a world now that if you want to share your news, it can easily be done far and wide in just seconds! Sometimes some of us prefer to keep things closer to home. We want the documentation just for ourselves. A beautiful album that we can slowly leaf through or beautiful portraits on our walls. 

Do you need a photographer in 2024?

I personally don’t know what any firsts for me will be this year. I know logically that there will be peaks and valleys ahead. As I look back on last year I’m thankful for the pictures I have. The pictures that were taken by other photographers and with my cell phone.  I love looking back as well as forward. Life is full of variety. Full of love, opportunity and hope. I will definitely be focusing my camera on the happy moments that I’m sure are ahead.
