Cake Smash Sessions

A Cake smash session is a really fun way to document an important milestone in someone’s life! I have only had the opportunity to do this with little ones. However, I have seen them done with adults who are hitting big milestones in their lives as well. So if you are looking for a unique and super fun way to document a milestone in your life consider a cake smash session.

What is a cake smash session? Each session is unique to each person. The overall theme can look however you would like it to. The flavor of cake and decorations should all reflect the individual person being celebrated. I love hosting these sessions here at the studio. While they absolutely can be done outside, the studio’s controlled environment makes the set up super easy.

Before the actual cake is introduced into the scene we capture some beautiful portraits of your little one. Then the fun really begins! Some kiddos aren’t really into the cake and some are! It’s always fun to see how it goes!

PNW – Winter

Those of you who live where I do know that this past week has been…interesting! I’m a huge fan of snow myself. I was thrilled with the snow forecast. Loved the cold air that let us keep the snow around for a few days. However, what showed up last night I am not a fan of! We are now encased in ice! Which means trapped at home and thankful that we still have power and so far all of our trees are standing. My heart goes out to so many people in our area that have not been as fortunate! Looking forward to the warm up! Stay safe friends!
