Fall Mini Sessions – So much fun!
While the weather did not cooperate with us for outdoor sessions we were able to use the studio and stayed dry and cozy during Fall mini sessions. While it poured outside we laughed, moved straw bales and pumpkins around as we created various sets for different sized families (the smallest 2 the larges 6). I had found some of the coolest colored pumpkins and other great props and when used against my gorgeous rustic wood wall in the studio it looked really great! I have spent the last couple of days cleaning the mess up! But that’s OK it was totally worth it! Here are some sneak peeks from the Fall mini sessions.
Abby – Class of 2021
After having a rough day I headed downtown Vancouver for a Senior session and it was the best mood lifter! While the day had been a solid overcast all day it was suddenly lifting and the light was gorgeous! Abby did such a good job of relaxing and enjoying her experience and the result are gorgeous!
Upcoming Fall Sessions – Is there time?
Yes! Have you noticed the Fall colors are taking their sweet time this year? I think November is going to be the peek for us this year! I do have November dates available if you are interested.
Here are few examples of photo sessions I’ve taken the past two years during the month of November
What I’m Reading – Olive the Lionheart by Brad Ricca
Honestly, I’m not reading much and what I’m reading is at a very slow pace. I’m mostly editing after I get home from shoots and my eyes are done by bedtime. I am slowly plodding my way through this book. So far, the cover is the most exciting part of the book. But I am still curious so I continue reading. This is a true story of Olive MacLeod described as a free-spirited aristocrat. The book begins in 1910 when word reaches Olive that her fiancé Boyd Alexander has been murdered (or has he gone missing?) in Africa. She decides to go looking for him. Clearly Olive’s adventurous spirit and courage is impressive for women of her time period. I’m about halfway through the book which reads like a diary, travel log. I am very curious if she will find him or not. I haven’t finished it so I won’t rate it at this time.
What I’m delivering –
Senior Galleries have been going out
I delivered this Wedding Gallery yesterday
Fall Mini Sessions will be delivered by Friday
I really strive to have as fast of a turnaround time as possible. I don’t like a long list of editing it overwhelms me so I work hard to get them off of my to-do list and back to you as quickly as possible.
Waterfall Shoot – Who’s in?
After photographing a wedding at this location I can’t get over how perfect it would be for a Family session or Senior session. No hiking needed! While the ground is rough it’s only about 100 yards from where you park your car so it’s very easy to get to. Have you ever dreamed of a waterfall shoot? Let’s talk!
What’s Next?
