Fall Mini Sessions 2021
I am excited to be offering Fall Mini Sessions again this year!! As I’m out and about I see hints of Fall everywhere!
This years Fall Mini Sessions will look different. There will be two different dates at two different locations. With a one week turnaround time images will be delivered in plenty of time for holiday cards and gifts. There are only 5 time slots available on each of the dates so I anticipate it filling quickly. I will be releasing the sign up link October 1st to subscribers of SFP News. If you’d like to sign up to get first access and all the details on October 1st (tomorrow!) click here. http://madmimi.com/signups/f92831e48f4c4758a38ad3779e2d9f9b/join
I will share the link on my social media on Monday October 4th if spots remain.
Tyler M – Class of 2022 – BGHS
Tyler and I chatted as we walked around Moulton Falls.
His mom and dad joined us for the shoot and none of them had ever been to Moulton Falls before. I always love the opportunity to play tour guide!
We got a work out as I showed them all the best spots. I appreciated Tyler’s willingness to pose in all the places!
Location: Moulton Falls
Why I like it: Stunning PNW scenery. Bridges, water, rocks, forest and old RR tracks.
This site also involves some walking so an additional perk is you get your workout in for the day!
Caleb – Class of 2022 – Seaton
I’m not gonna lie. This shoot I was stoked for!
I try to climb twice a week at The Source in downtown Vancouver. I have made some great friends there! The friend I climb with there the most is Ellen, the mom of Caleb.
When she asked if we could include some rock climbing in Caleb’s Senior pictures I was in!
After finding a harness for my camera that would work with my climbing harness and practicing in the gym I felt ready to go!
We began the session at Cape Horn overlook so he would have a nice variety of pictures for his Senior Session.
After photographing there we had just a short drive to the Ozone Climbing Wall. This is right off the shoulder of HWY 14. I had climbed there just one other time.
I had the best time climbing and photographing. It was challenging climbing with my camera on my hip. My camera was mostly out of my way but I knew that if I slipped and smashed into the wall with my right hip my camera had no protection!
I would climb up, clip into a bolt and then hang out photographing Caleb as he glided up the wall. He is such a smooth climber and a really nice kid.
Location: Cape Horn Overlook
Why I like it: Easy to access and gorgeous views of the Gorge, old growth trees and beautiful fields. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot!
Location #2: Ozone Climbing Wall
Why I like it: Easy access and great climbing.
Ellie and Carson – Engaged!!!!
When Carson reached out to me about the surprise engagement he had planned at Cathedral Park I was excited to be part of it!
Carson was coming in from out of town so he needed some help setting up a bit.
Jeff and I arrived about 30 min early to claim the spot and set up some candles and rose petals. Then our most important job was hiding!
Ellie was surprised and the emotions of the moment where palpable!
Congratulations to you both! I am so excited for you!
Don’t forget about those Fall Mini Session sign ups!
