Senior Session – Josh Fry Class of 2018 Civil Engineering WWU
I am so excited that I will have two sons graduating from their University this June! I really couldn’t be prouder of them! Graduation (from any level) is such an accomplishment! It shows tenacity, drive and an individual who is striving to be a contributor in society. I remember the thrilling feeling when I walked across the stage to receive my BA in History and I am looking forward to watching them experience that same moment in just a few months.
Josh, my oldest and I had the opportunity to do his Grad Portrait session yesterday in Walla Walla. Back when he was a high school senior (and I was still teaching and only a photographer on the side) He preferred I didn’t photograph him. 🙁 It worked out fine (except my feelings) I was able to hire an amazing photographer Julie of Freckled Pear Studio and she did an outstanding job.
This time around Josh was happy to have me photograph him which was so much fun as his mom! It was interesting to be on both sides of the experience as the photographer and the mom. I’m pretty excited about the images. He is a handsome guy and I am so proud of him!
I am looking forward to Tyler’s Graduate Session in a few weeks! But for now I present to you
Tyler the Rock Star
I did photograph Ty this weekend. He was in a band that competed in the annual Battle of the Bands at WWU. It was the second time Jeff and I have had the opportunity to see him perform at this event. It is such a blast to watch Ty perform! He is having such a good time and he is so talented. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be on a stage playing with such expertise! I would like to decree that all mic stands are to banished from the land! If I had a dollar for every time a mic stand has been in my way for a shot I would be a very wealthy woman!!!
Class of 2018 -Do you know an upcoming graduate?
Its not to late to squeeze in a Graduate Session. I would appreciate the referral! It really is such an important time and what better way to document it then with some gorgeous professional photos?
My studio is located in Battle Ground Wa. But I am available to travel to you. Maybe your graduate is away at University? We could arrange for me to photograph them where ever they are located. Comment or give me a call today and we can get it booked!
Thanks for stopping by! I always appreciate any comments you would like to share!
