Spring Grad Sessions – {Grad Sessions – Battle Ground WA & Vancouver WA}

It’s Happening!!!

Have you noticed? The happy yellow flowers blooming along the roadsides. The cheery pinks appearing on the trees – Spring has arrived friends! I’m so ready!!!! Bring on the longer days, the sunshine, the gorgeous colors I’m ready for it all!

Of course we all know that there isn’t a magical switch that gets flipped placing us firmly into Springs grasp. We will still have to ride the roller coaster of psycho weather the NW promises us for this time of year, but that’s ok because I know Spring is winning!

Josh – Class of 2018 Portland Or

This is Josh. He will be graduating this Spring. I will forever look at his pictures and remember that a mere 24 hours after these pictures were taken the Portland/Vancouver are was being gently blanketed by snow!

It’s called windows of opportunity! We get outside when we can! Josh was chilly on this shoot but you wouldn’t know it! He was really sweet about taking his jacket off and posing for his grad session and his Dad was only too happy to “hold” his jacket for him!  😆

We choose PDX for his location. I love to photograph in this area. There is a lot of variety for the backgrounds. I enjoy finding interesting locations for any of my sessions. Some of my clients prefer to stay close to home (and even at their homes) others enjoy finding something different. It doesn’t matter to me. I just love the variety! I would get so bored having to stay in one location! Especially considering where we get to live! The options are endless! I photographed Josh’s older brother Ryan last year. His pictures were also in PDX. The goal was to find similar locations that didn’t look the same.

Lets Talk –

I booked my first Class of 2019 Senior this week! Amazing how time flies by! I loved meeting with Kelsey and discussing what she wanted for her Grad Session. We choose a location and discussed her “looks”.  It’s time for you to book your Spring Family or Grad Sessions now! Don’t let this gorgeous Spring pass you by without some gorgeous family portraits to remember it with!
