Senior Emmi

Lately, I have had more opportunities to work with brand new (to me) people and I am loving it! It is so much fun to work with new faces in new locations! Emmi and I met on a stormy Sunday afternoon. Her beautiful mom Carol and I had been trading text messages all morning, wondering what the weather would do. It didn’t look promising. The location for our shoot was an hour and half from my home and 30 minutes from hers so we were both trying to figure out what the weather had in mind. Ultimately, the decision was made to just go for it and I’m glad we did!

As I left home in the POURING rain I wondered if our gamble would pay off…

Then, when I was about 20 minutes from the location the clouds parted and the winds died down and everything worked out perfectly!

It doesn’t always work out, but when it does I am so thankful! 😛

My trusty assistant wasn’t able to come on this photo shoot (he was home taking care of the baby 🙄 ) and I was very thankful that Emmi’s sister Rachel stepped in and did an awesome job! Thanks Rachel!

Best wishes to you Emmi as you finish your senior year and move towards your big exciting future!

Denim

{denim} is my go to. It is what I feel most comfortable in. I actually miss wearing jeans during the summer. Its true…don’t judge me!  😆

Spooky

This was a tough one for me since I don’t do {spooky} I don’t have a single Halloween decoration and I simply don’t like or want anything to do with anything in that category! I like FALL not this dumb “holiday” 🙄  I know other feel differently and that’s cool – my point being I didn’t have anything for it and I did not want to go out of my way to find it. I do however have a black cat which my sweet Lucy definitely finds {spooky}!  😆

I’m on the road again this weekend – I will be on a 4 hour car ride with two puppies – prayers are appreciated! I will let you know if we survive!
