Spring Sessions
Finally!!!! The weather is cooperating so let’s get those Spring Sessions booked! Regardless if your looking to do a photo shoot, the fact that we finally have a forecast that includes several dry warm days is a reason to get out and enjoy!! I was in the Gorge last weekend and the Spring flowers are starting to pop! Rowena Crest just east of Hood River is one of my absolute favorite places to photograph during the Spring bloom! These photos were taken Memorial Day weekend last year. I currently have only two weekend dates available if this is a location you would like to book while the flowers are blooming. I have been enjoying the spring flowers lately. My trees are finally showing some signs of life. I can’t wait for everything to green up again! Today I’m heading to Walla Walla for the weekend. I will get to do a Cap and Gown session and celebrate my great-nephews 2nd birthday while I’m there!
Yesterday was a day of frustrations. My computer was down all day. When my computer is down that means I can’t work. I can’t meet deadlines and it’s very frustrating!! Also my new flash refused to work and while a new one is on the way, it looks like it won’t be delivered until after we need to leave. Also, my mouse wouldn’t work so I couldn’t even edit. I had a sweet client trying to order and there was a glitch with the ordering process. I was doing my best to fix it but nothing was working. It felt like nothing I needed to do could be done. Needless to say I was grumpy…
Sometimes, when several things seem to be going wrong at once it all feels so overwhelming and frustrating. So I’m choosing to focus on what makes me happy. Flowers, warmer days ahead and some quality family time. I hope you have some plans this weekend that feed your soul and bring smiles to your face!
Thankfully thanks to a friend in North Dakota and my amazing hubby my computer was operating again late last night! My mouse is working again and the ordering glitch was resolved. So things are looking up. I have a 4 hour drive ahead today and I’m hoping to chill out, not get any speeding tickets and enjoy the scenery.
Class of 2023
Just a reminder that very soon graduates will be receiving their cap and gowns. Once they have those cap and gowns it sure is fun to do a photo shoot to help celebrate and remember this exciting time of year. The following is a recap of what I am offering during this season.
- Senior Sessions – Book now and we can get your 2023 grad photographed before graduation
- Senior Sessions – Class of 2024 now is the time to book. Even if you prefer a Summer of Fall date its a good idea to get on the schedule now.
- Cap and Gown Sessions – Get on the list and we will get you scheduled when the cap and gowns arrive
- Personal photographer – Take the pressure off. Sit back and enjoy the ceremony and/or party and I will take are of the photography
Cap and Gown Sessions
Perhaps you would like a fun 20 min session here at the studio or at an outdoor location. These are scheduled after the graduate has received their cap and gown. I have confetti and lots of fun ideas for these sessions! Graduates are welcome to bring a friend or a pet along for these fun fast sessions.
If you have already had a Senior Session with me this year you qualify for my discounted Cap and Gown rate. If you would like to schedule a Cap and Gown session just let me know and I will add you to the list. Once the cap and gown arrive we will schedule a time for your session.
