The Fry’s go to McCall, Idaho
2 years ago we visited McCall, Idaho and fell in love with it! We were thrilled to be able to go again. Bonus we are now a family of 6 and everyone was able to come! We rented a gorgeous log cabin, planned a day of skiing and a day of snowmobiling and lots of yummy meals and game time! We knew it would be over quickly and we planned to make the most of it! Jeff and I drove over and on our way we made a stop to visit some of our favorite people in College Place, WA. We had a great visit and managed a visit to Roger’s Bakery for some yummy donuts!
We all arrived at different times but everyone made it safely and we were off to a good start. With about 3 feet of snow on the ground we were ready to play! Our first adventure together was skiing at Brundage. The ski area is only about 20 min from our rental. The weather was cold and calm and we were excited about our day ahead. While the conditions were great we still hit a bump in the road. One of us fell and broke their wrist before lunch time! Such a bummer! That meant two of us stayed behind the next day as the other 4 went snowmobiling. Then one of the 4 snowmobilers got sick and they came back early. Now we had one injured and one sick. We nervously looked around and wondered who was next?
Thankfully the bad luck streak ended there. In spite of all that, we truly managed to laugh and enjoy our time together. Jeff and I arrived home Tuesday afternoon after an 8 hour drive on mostly clear dry roads. I’m so thankful we got home before this crazy snowstorm hit!
Even though our vacation had some bumps I’m so thankful for the time we had together. I’m looking forward to the next time!
The Messenger Album – Shelly Fry Photography
Shelly Fry Photography has been offering beautiful albums to my clients for awhile now. This year I am adding to the product line. When I was in Nashville at the PPA conference I saw this album. The cover is what pulled me in. I fell in love with the leather and messenger style design. The quality of the thick pages and gorgeous portraits inside convinced me to offer this to you! I ordered a sample album for the studio and I love it! Many people buy digital images with the best of intentions to make an albums themselves. Then the reality of how much time and effort it takes to design an album sets in and often times the images just sit on the computer.
