Happy 80th Birthday
If it’s your 80th birthday I think it’s an excellent time to surround yourself with friends and family! This past weekend our family gathered to wish my husbands mother a very happy birthday. We had people travel from Tennessee, California, Walla Walla, Tri-Cities, the Seattle area and from up the Columbia River Gorge.
Pink decorations (her favorite color) and some gorgeous flowers (brought by my sister in law) created a beautiful setting. We gathered on the lawn under the shade of trees and umbrellas (it was hot!) There was lots of visiting, good food and of course birthday cake. Everyone who was there just wanted to show how much they love Charlene. She really appreciated everyone who took the time to travel and celebrate with her.

I love this family’s energy! I met them last year for the first time. Popi and Tutu have a fun summer camp each year where their goal is to have all 5 of their adult children and their families join them for a few days of lots of fun!
T-shirts are made with many activities planned.
Happily they also include a photo shoot with Shelly Fry Photography! For two years now we have put the kiddos in the back of Popi’s truck to take pictures. I always love annual pictures like that. It’s such a fun way to document their growth from year to year.
I’m already looking forward to next year when hopefully all 5 families will join in all the fun!
