Griffith Family Session

It’s always a good day when I have a beautiful family photo session scheduled and the weather is perfect  😎 I loved the green and denim they wore it looked perfect against the ivy and moss covered walls 😀

The Griffith family booked their session well in advance but it was for a Sunday in November which had me nervous about the weather – I was so relieved when the forecast was nothing but sunshine  😎 I’m not sure I will get so lucky this coming Sunday  😥

Tis the season to be Joyful and yet that can be the biggest challenge for us during this month of craziness!  🙄 With a to-do list triple what it is in a normal month it can be overwhelming! Then throw in a family photo session on top of everything and the joy can be tossed right out the window! But I haven’t had a single family regret taking the time to have their pictures taken. I have had several comment on how they wished they had or could find the time for a photo session. Life is such a juggling act right now!

Hang in there and fight to find something to be joyful about every day this month!  😛

Mail

I love this time of year when it comes to the {mail}!! 😆  I have actually received my first Christmas card already – it came on the day before Thanksgiving!!! Since then I have been joyfully anticipating the mails arrival each day (still waiting for the next card) I sincerely hope we never lose the tradition of sending Christmas cards! If for no other reason than to hang on to the tiny thread that is left of personal non-electronic communication between friends and family! My {mail}box this day didn’t have any Christmas cards in it but the UPS guy came with my new book club book which was just as exciting! Whistling Past The Graveyard by Susan Crandall – I plan on diving into it tonight!

 Cup Of Cheer

It’s no secret that gifts are my love language. It doesn’t have to be grand – just a small -I thought of you sort of thing- which is exactly what this mug was. I had noticed this mug and commented on how it matched my business colors. A few days later hubby came home with this small gift. I love it! And of course {my cup of cheer} as always – chai  😀

I often take several pictures for each day’s prompts. Trying to figure out the best composition etc. 🙄  I loved how Lucy was in this one but you couldn’t see the steam from the mug as well and I liked the front of the mug better – So sweet Lucy didn’t make the cut this time!  😛

I hope you find some joy this weekend 😆  Perhaps in your mailbox, or around the dinner table, maybe when you are out and about and someone does something kind for no reason – or of course you yourself can be the one spreading some joy as you go about your day. Today at Costco I had 3 people be extra nice to me. It made my day! It’s the little stuff that matters!
