Cake Smash – Happy 1st Birthday

I wish I knew of, or thought of, doing a cake smash when my boys were little! I tended to be a mom that was a bit anxious when fingers got sticky or icky. I’m much more chilled out in my old age now. It never occurred to me as a young mom to set my birthday boy down on the floor in front of a cake and to just watch what would  happen. 

We had so much fun celebrating with this little one in the studio! I love how his mom came up with the coolest props for his cake smash session. It’s always so fun to see how babies respond to their cakes. I have had some that don’t want anything to do with the cake and other’s who dive right in. This dude was just so happy and chill. He was also fast! He kept us on our toes. 

I love the way my seemless paper backdrop  looked with the decorations. And it made clean up easy!

Cap and Gown Session – Paige Class of 2024

Here it is. My first Cap and Gown session for this season. Very soon Paige will be marching down the isle and grabbing that hard earned diploma! Paige is my niece and I am so proud of her!
