Graduate season is in full swing! Every year it seems these months fly by faster. May has been a whirlwind and June is looking the same. Now that we are headed into Summer it seems like everything is on high speed.
As usual my job offers lots of variety and I love it! I’m been out in the Gorge with 3 gorgeous women, up in Yacolt with the cutest little leaguers, here in Brush Prairie with an upcoming Senior and in Walla Walla photographing a cake smash for my great-nephew.
The next few weeks are all about graduation. I am looking forward to helping graduates and their family’s celebrate this exciting time in their lives.
Columbia River Gorge
I love a dramatic location! This is just east of Cascade Locks and well worth the drive! I have done a few Senior as well as family sessions here. Every time I photograph at this location I just get so excited! The views, the lighting it all adds up to stunning images!
For this session I asked my 3 nieces if they would be my models. They had a lot of fun as I bossed them around and took their photos! One is a graduate this year, one is about to start her 3rd year of college and one will be graduating in just two short years!
If you are looking for a dramatic location for your photo session I know of several. I would love to work with you! This location is ideal for graduate sessions as well as family sessions.

Justin Class of 2025 – An upcoming Graduate
Justin is a brand new Senior! He will be graduating in 2025. Justin brought along his saxophone and sweet pup for his session. He loves being outdoors and the woods so we found the perfect location for his session.
Happy Birthday Ford! (A future graduate)
This is my Great-Nephew and we celebrated his 1st birthday last weekend. I packed my camera and headed over to help him celebrate and eat his chocolate cake! I absolutely love the bottom middle picture where Ford is looking at Nora as she gets a bite of his cake!
You never know how little ones will respond to their cake smash. Some don’t want to touch it and others dive right in. Both of Ford’s older siblings were a bit hesitant during their own cake smashes. Ford is different! At one point we had chocolate flying all over the place!
