Happy Spring!

As of yesterday Spring has officially arrived! So today I’m simply going to fill this post with pictures of beautiful flowers. The weather is very Spring like (rain, sun, rain, rain, sun) After days like we had Saturday I find myself getting very impatient with the rain. BUT that’s life here in the NW and there is nowhere else I would rather live!  😎  😀

I love the parks in our area! I love having a dog that “forces”  😉 me outside everyday for long walks  😀  As a result I get to enjoy the beauty that surrounds (where I stand) rain or shine!

I had a comment on my Instagram feed after posting this picture that I should shave my fingers…  😉

With Saturday’s glorious weather we were outside as much as possible! We moved the patio table outside to the sun and ate lunch basking in the warmth and then headed to the river to watch Lucy play in the water. She still hasn’t learned to swim. I guess we will be throwing her into the lake this summer to learn. She would go into the river just so far to chase a stick, but once she couldn’t touch she stopped! We followed our visit to the river with a stop at DQ where I got this (tiny) 🙂 dipped cone. Then we topped off the day watching the Timbers play in PDX. It was such a lovely warm evening to be out in the big city! And we did all of it together with our two boys! That made it extra special!

I think Daffodils are the cheeriest flower out there! I was happy to see {floral} as the prompt  😀 I love having Spring flowers inside the house as well as outside! It was a rainy day so after a trip to the dog park with Lucy and a huge farmer’s breakfast for the boys we settled into a long game of Monopoly – and for the first time I thought I had a legitimate shot at winning! I should have known better!  😥
