Thankful
I admit to being worn out! What a weekend! Friday night was the Grand Opening of my new studio in Battle Ground and I was simply overwhelmed with love and support. It exceeded my expectations in every way. And of course this photographer only took two pictures 🙁 I guess I was just too busy chatting and enjoying the experience which is a good thing.
I am thrilled to be at the point of just settling into my new studio and working hard. Happily I sold a picture and booked 2 photo sessions 😆 Fall is filling up and I am just so thankful to have my dream job!
I was also thankful that both of my sons were home for the weekend! It has been a long, long time since the four of us were together! I cherished every moment and was so happy they could be at the Grand Opening as well.

I’m excited that this week I have some pictures to deliver and two family photo sessions to shoot. I love the fall photography season. I walked at Lewisville this afternoon and noticed the Fall colors are already showing. 😛

This weekend I was also thankful to be celebrating Ty’s birthday! Somewhere {in between} 1997 and now my baby boy grew into a man! I’m so proud of him! He has been teased endlessly because he is the youngest in his group of friends and the last to become an ADULT 😉 Of course the irony is he is head and shoulders taller than any of them 😉

Oh hooray! There was {water} falling from the heavens this weekend! I am a Northwest girl I can’t help it! I do love the sun. I love summer and boating and being outdoors in the sun but after awhile (and it has been a long, long while) I just need a break! I need a good old fashion, soaking rain to reset everything! And finally it came! I swear I could hear the trees, brown grass, bushes, etc all breathing a great big sigh of relief and gulping loudly at the wonderful {water} as it poured down on them! 😀
I have Fall fever…its getting worse – I have new boots I’m dying to wear!!!
