Salty/Something I am proud of/Feet

Salty
86/365

Here is my attempt to make {salty} an interesting picture…
One of my biggest challenges in this challenge is to find a unique and attractive way to photograph things like {salty}, feet, etc.

Personally I’m not a big {salty} fan…
Other than just general cooking needs I don’t salt anything but my pizza…
I inherited the salting pizza thing from my mom…
I don’t know why but it HAS to have salt to taste right!!!

Something I am Proud of

OK – DEEP BREATH
I’m jumping in and putting myself as a photographer out there in a very real way…
I’m feeling a bit anxious about this decision but there is no turning back now…

A local coffee shop (Lava Java in Ridgefield) is hosting my photography for the month of April…

Back in November I approached the owner of a local coffee shop and asked if I could be one of the artist featured in her shop…She looked at my work, said yes, and I was given the month of April…which seemed so far away…
What that means is that I will have 10 large landscape photographs up on their walls in hopes that people will enjoy and buy them…

My brother and I will be hanging the pictures this Sunday (April 5) and there will be an open house on the 12th from 11-1pm – So if your around I would love to see you there!

Feet
88/365
I don’t think there is anything attractive about feet…
I dreaded this shot…
But then I was inspired to round up the family on the final morning that Josh would be home with us and get a “family shot” of our {feet}…

We have very large {feet} in our home…
But I’m thankful for our {feet} and the places they have taken us over the years..

It’s a terrible shot with regard to composition, exposure but I love that it is us…
I remember when those massive {feet} were just teeny tiny…
When those {feet} needed help getting socks and shoes on…
When those {feet} needing help standing, walking…

And now those big {feet} are walking away from us…
All grown up and leaving the nest…

(yes I’m tearing up can you tell?)

As I looked at the pictures of others participating in the Project 365 I noticed among the hundreds of various pictures of {feet} one cleaver person who had a tape measure out and took a picture of two {feet} – Love it!
