2022 – That’s a Wrap!

Wow! What a year it has been! As I reflect on my business my heart is so thankful! Thank you to each and everyone of you who invested in me this year! If you booked me, referred me, signed up for my newsletter, shared my blog and/or encouraged me in anyway I can’t tell you how much it means to me!

Owning a small business can be a lonely endeavor.  There’s no lunch room to go hang out and chat about the boss. When technical difficulties arise there is no IT department to call. My CFO makes me pay taxes and that’s a real bummer! The absolute highlight of what I do is meeting people and hanging out during sessions! I have many new friends as a result of this job and I love it! As I excitedly looking forward to 2023 my 10th year of SFP I can’t wait to meet my new friends and make some amazing memories!

I am finishing the year with strong. Yesterday I had 14 family members who have gathered from Tacoma, WA DC and the UK right here in BG in my studio for a family session. Today my last session of 2022 was an engagement session with Brendon and his gorgeous Fiancé Helen.

The weather wasn’t really cooperating for our original plan. Plan A was Crown Point out in the Gorge. But wind and rain along with 36 degrees had us switching to plan B. Plan B the Pearl District in PDX. No wind and lots of shelter for us to use. Here are some of the first peeks from this mornings session.

I see it a a good sign that my first session of 2023 will happen on the 1st! I like a strong start!
