Blooming!

Us Photographers get very excited this time of year! This past weekend Jeff and I both walked and biked around Ft. Vancouver as well as the waterfront. My eyes were constantly drawn to the brilliant magnolia trees in bloom! Man they are gorgeous! The camellia bushes are blooming and the sweetest little colorful daisies are sprinkled all over the grassy fields. It’s all just so beautiful!

Then yesterday I was in NW PDX on a photography job for an architecture firm and I was just in awe of all the gorgeous flowers in bloom down there! I have determined that I will be buying myself a magnolia bush/tree for our yard in the very near future!

Variety is the Spice of Life

This week I have photographed a dog, some architects, a party at a law firm and a couple headshots for regular people. I do love the variety this job offers! This week while I was working with an architect I asked him to do various things. I tend to be bossy and I wont’ hesitate to pose you. He was holding a pen and I asked if he would put it down. He said “no” it’s my tool. Then he asked “do people always do what you tell them?” I laughed and said “sadly, no!”  But I did appreciate that he wanted to hold the pen in his picture! I just assumed he didn’t realize he was holding it!
