What I’m Doing – Loving my Family and Friends time!
Family is everything to me. Now that my kids are men and live on their own family time is rare.
It’s been a busy week! Bridal showers, bike rides, boat trips, rock climbing, rug cleaning, exterminators, chopping up trees {that Steve has chewed down}, dog sitting, album making, celebrating birthdays etc. But the best part was this past weekend.
I mentioned in last weeks blog that Josh was coming home and Ty was flying to Guatemala. They happened to be coming and going on the same day so for a brief moment in time I had them both with me. Tyler, Kim and I picked Josh up at the airport and then headed to Chipotle where Jocelyn met up with us. Sadly, Jeff had to work {so we could all afford to eat at Chipotle}. 😉 It was brief but I loved having the boys together. Then we took Tyler and Kim to the airport for their adventure. They have safely arrived in Guatemala where I don’t doubt Tyler is the tallest in all the country!
Jeff, Josh, Jocelyn and I had a blast! We went climbing at Planet Granite, ate good food, boated and ate more good food and just overall enjoyed our time together! Josh took the doors off the Jeep which was super fun! Only after the boat was hooked up and Jeff was driving did we realize that the missing side mirrors would be an issue…
Sadly the much anticipated visit was over all too quickly and the house returned to it’s quite state.
What I’m Photographing –
You? I would love the opportunity to photograph your Senior, your Family, your Event, your Headshot! With extremely limited dates this Summer there are only a couple of opportunities left if you would like a Summer Session. My last Summer weekend that is available is August 3rd. After that my next availability isn’t until September.
Do you know that once you place your first order with SFP you receive a free phone app which includes all of your galleries images? How cool is that?! Any time you want to show off your beautiful photos you just whip out your phone and TADAAAA there they are!
Goal Check –
In keeping up with my goal to stay active Jeff and I will be riding this weekend. Ride Around Clark County or RACC is Saturday and once again we have barely ridden and plan to ride the 54 mile route. Fortunately for us, unlike last time we know the route and won’t be taking any wrong turns or climbing any unnecessary hills!
I also water skied for the first time this year. And then spent the next two days hobbling around like a 90 year old woman! And of course I have been climbing about 3xs a week. I’m thankful for a body that allows me to be active even if it does complain louder then it used to!
What I’m Reading –
I finished Killing Lincoln and gave it 5 stars! I loved it! If you like history you will LOVE it!
My next choice is completely different. So different I have no idea if I will like it. So far two strangers arrive at an Inn along the Thames in the outskirts of London. One is badly injured and unconscious and the other, a small child, is by all signs dead – until she isn’t. The time line is 1800s. I hope it doesn’t turn creepy, I don’t do creepy. I will keep you posted.
My Favorite Thing –
