One of the photo prompts for this week {pullback} had me thinking all day. What did that mean? I mean it could suggest several things but more specifically with regards to taking a photo, what did it mean?

Frankly, I gave up on trying to take a pictures of {pullback} and decided to go through some old pictures to get some inspiration.

Looking at this picture with the word {pullback} in mind reminded me of how I often forget to do just that. As a photographer my instincts are to get close, push in, move in tight. I have to remind myself to {pullback} look at the big picture, turn around what is behind me? I tend to rush to the edge to look down or over it. When I do that I may miss the beauty of the path leading to the edge.

Less is More

When I hear {less is more} I think “no it’s not!” 🙄  Once again I mulled over my photo prompt trying to think of what to take a picture of. But between editing and subbing I just didn’t have any {less is more} ideas present themselves to me. It wasn’t until that night when my hubby suggested we go to a movie that it came to me. We found ourselves in a theater all by ourselves! It was then I had my ah ha moment {less is more} when you have the theater all to yourself!

So with my iphone I took a badly lit selfie and called it a day! We enjoyed the movie, we talked loudly and kept our cell phones on the entire time! Woohoo we really know how to live it up!!! 🙄
