Looking forward to the weekend!

I’m excited about another beautiful weekend for several reasons!

  • Ty is coming home  😀
  • We have an adventure planned for Saturday
  • I have mini sessions scheduled for Sunday (2 spots avail let me know!)
  • I’m helping with an auction at CAA on Sunday
  • The weather is supposed to be GORGEOUS  😎

Yesterday I was inspecting the garden and I was THRILLED to see some of my seeds have little green sprouts emerging!!! I get so impatient for that to happen! Of course Lucy promptly stepped on a few 😮

More baby goats!!! My sweet friend Cindy called to say that 2 more babies were born and I headed right over! They are so stinkin cute!

This was Lucy’s first experience at the farm – she chased a chicken, played chicken with a llama, and was stared at by the goats  😀

History lesson!  😉  The I-5 bridge was originally only one span and was built in 1917. The northbound lanes are the original span. Originally a toll bridge it cost .05 to cross by car or horse and buggy.  The second identical span was built in 1954. Or course if you commute from Portland to Vancouver or vice versa you loathe this bridge. It is a draw bridge and getting stuck on I5 during a bridge lift is just a right of passage for those that live here. I have been on the bridge several times in my life when there has been a lift and I’ve been as close as maybe 15 cars back but I’ve never been number one at the gate when the lift takes place. I think that would be cool  😆  (I’m easily entertained)  🙄

I hope you have some adventure planned for your weekend!
