{What I’m listening to} – Harp – I spent some time on Friday {listening to} some gorgeous harp music. I had a wedding to shoot and the bride had hired a harp. It was elegant and perfect for the location. It had been a long time since I had {listened to} harp music – it is so elegant and it looks really complicated!!!!
My View Today

{My view today} – On Saturday it was alumni weekend and I was asked to take pictures of the honor classes. This is the 30 year honor class! This is also the class that graduated the year before me!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that means next year… ugh….
From Above

{From Above} As a photographer the angle you shoot a picture can make it or break it! A picture can go from hohum to fabulous just by the photographer moving to a different angle – sometimes that means the photographer should be willing to climb into a dumpster, if her client wants a shot of himself up on a scaffolding (his mom was there and gave permission).
Have you ever seen a teen golfing from a scaffolding? Yep we are setting trends!!!
While I am shooting I am 100% focused on my client – I don’t have any awareness of what is going on behind me… This is what was happening during yesterdays shoot 🙂
Yesterday morning was my open house at Lava Java – So many friends/family showed up! I was emotional over the support, encouragement, and love so many of you have shown me as I have ventured way outside of my comfort zone! THANK YOU!!!!
A huge thanks to my mom who totally saved me by making delicious treats for everyone!
It was so much fun to talk with people about my pictures – I met several new people all who were so kind with their compliments and words of encouragement!
