The Gorgeous Smith Clan – And a Tornado…

I love extended family sessions! There was extra excitement in the air when cousins who rarely see each other are together and these 6 cousins seemed to really enjoy each other!

Separated by an entire continent these Floridians were shivering in their boots during our crisp and chilly morning session.  Cozy boots, fuzzy sweaters and fluffy blankets and snacks! Kudos to these well prepared parents which helped this photo session be a success!

To think only a few days later this same park is under water! The weather around here has been NUTS! Flooding, landslides closing I-5 and then a tornado in Meadow Glade! Good grief! So thankful no one was injured! But I think everyone needs a chainsaw for Christmas!

Lewisville Park – the river higher than I had ever seen – Someone said it had been 20 years since it had flooded like this.

Tornado damage in “the Glade” I was interviewed by channel 6 but apparently I wasn’t riveting enough because it was never played… 😥

I would love to trade all this rain for some {white} snow – anyone else with me on that?

It truly was a {gift} that no one was hurt during our tornado – those trees are big and heavy and the fact that no one was hurt in yesterday’s storm really is a {gift}

Here’s hoping for a peaceful uneventful day (unless it is a fun event 😉 )
