I love graduate sessions! I love all my sessions but there is always something a little extra special about being able to focus on one person who is about to reach one of those significant steps in life.
Miss Brooke is excited to be graduating and heading to high school next year!
I will let you in on a little secret – I took 25 pictures of this pose and held my breathe looking through them and was THRILLED to find ONE where Brooke and her sweet pup were both looking my way! ( To be clear Brooke was VERY cooperative 😉 ) He was just a tad excited to have his picture taken! 😆
I had never used Ridgefield as a location for one of my photo sessions before. I have to say I loved it! The cute downtown, lovely little park and then the water with the tall grasses and wildflowers made it an ideal location!
Brooke was a natural in front of the camera! I loved working with this gorgeous girl!
Brooke’s youngest sister popped in for a few pictures! So cute!
Do you know a graduate or someone who will be a senior next year? Now is the time to schedule your session with me! 😀

I was hired this week to photograph a couple of baseball teams out at Brush Prairie Ball Fields. Oh those baseball players were cute! Hanging out with the little guys always makes my Mom heart melt!!! But as I was busy taking pictures of them playing I noticed this bucket of baseballs. I loved the look of it! While I was a very athletic kid I never developed a {love} for the game. I have hard core baseball lovers in my family and I love watching my nieces play in their softball games but honestly, when it comes to playing it- it’s just not my sport 😉

I have begun my daily watering routine. With the garden planted and the hot days it is a necessity. But I find watering {time} very therapeutic.
Thanks for stopping by! If you enjoyed today’s post please share it! Have a lovely weekend!

Shelly you capture the ordinary wonder of the day, the stuff of life, the overlooked moments, the smiles in their eyes – it’s because your heart has travelled where it has.
