Justin + Stephanie = True Love

I have said it before and I will say it again. I meet the best people because of my job as a photographer. The chances of I ever meeting Stephanie and/or Justin would be pretty slim except for a few key people. Last year I was referred by a mutual friend to another family in need of a photographer {which is a pretty cool story you can read here – http://portraits/a-beautiful-story-the-richardson-family-family-photographer-battle-ground-wa-vancouver-wa } Several months after photographing that lovely family they learned that Stephanie was looking for a wedding photographer and referred me. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to meet some really outstanding people! While I don’t know Justin or Stephanie very well, what I do know of their story is very inspiring! And anyone present at their wedding could see, and even feel, the love just radiating off these two towards each other! Having the opportunity to be up close and watch two people so in love pledge themselves to each other is a very moving experience!

Their wedding day was a hot one in August! They had chosen a lovely venue in Lake Oswego right on the river https://www.thefoundrylakeoswego.com/. I’m not gonna lie there were a few longing glances towards the river that day! Because of the heat and the full sun we stuck to a beautiful path along the edge of the river for our first look photographs.

This is the platform (what do you call it?) they were married on. Such a cool location! I may have looked longingly at some of the homes across the river that day as well! 😎 

Stephanie and Justin don’t take themselves too seriously which kept things fun and entertaining! Justin made it clear that this was Stephanie’s day and he would do what she asked but he was not a fan of the pink vest!  😉 (I thought her colors were gorgeous!)

 While I never did jump into the river I was impressed with those who did!
