You are invited – Open Studio This Sunday!
Hi friends!
Consider this your official invitation to drop by this coming Sunday for the Open Studio. I am all moved in and ready to share this amazing new space with you. This week Jeff and I officially moved out of the Main St studio and honestly it was bittersweet. When the Main St. space became available I felt much like I do now. So excited and very thankful for the opportunity. The Main St location served me very well and I have many fond memories at that location. What is most meaningful to me about that space is the fact that I had the opportunity to grow there. It was during my 4 years on Main St. that I finally felt like I had “arrived”. My confidence grew as I met more people, learned new things and truly established myself as a photographer in my community.
What was next?
When I moved into Main St. I had lots of friends and family there to help me. Walls had been painted, pictures hung, signage on the windows. After a very busy day I found myself alone in my new studio. I laid down on the floor in the back of my new studio. As I laid there I wondered what would happen in my time there. Would I grow? Or would I eventually have to move out because I had failed? I had no idea what would be next. Honestly as exciting as it was it was also scary!

When is the Open Studio?
This Sunday February 27th from 2-5. This is a drop by and say hi event. There will be some appetizers, an opportunity to win a head shot or a pet session and look around the studio. Maybe you will see some pictures of yourself or someone you know. Jeff and I have been busy hanging pictures and getting the studio all ready for you.
