Holiday Mini Sessions 2023

I am truly excited about this years Holiday Mini Sessions! I have been brainstorming, collecting and creating for a few weeks now. Honestly I begin thinking about next year as soon as that years finish up! I’m excited about offering two different sets this year. Since my studio looks like a barn it’s fun to set something up outside as well as create a set indoors. Anyone who has booked a session has the option of which set (or split the session using both) to use. Inside I have a backdrop that looks like white barn wood, with trees and some really fun large Christmas bells.

Nov. 19th is coming up fast!

I am working on the final decorations and hanging up the Christmas wreath on the studio (and it’s not even Thanksgiving) planning the snacks and making sure all the camera gear is ready to go! It’s going to be a super busy day. I already have 10 spots sold and I’m hoping the final 4 spots fill up as well. I am hydrating and exercising to prepare for the day!

Depending on each family’s needs (some have older or younger kids some have pups) I have fun quickly moving each set around. Once again Santa has agreed to hang out with us for the day as well! I love seeing how each family decides how to dress. Over the years I have seen a variety! For example –

Baby Makes 4

There is no better time to celebrate you than when you are growing another human! Baby Levi will be joining us very soon! It is extra special to be able to photograph people over time. To be able to share and help them document some of the biggest moments in their lives is such a privilege! I can not wait to meet baby! Heather is such a beautiful person and look how stunning she is pregnant! What an amazing holiday season they will have this year!

Siblings!

Once upon a time I was a high school History teacher! I had the opportunity to teach at 3 different schools. The parents of these adorable kiddos came from two of those schools! I’m so excited they choose me to photograph their beautiful family as it grows! Looks at these beautiful kids! So much energy and so fun to photograph! My favorite part was when Daphney decided to lay on top of the apples! It worked – look at that smile.

Every once in awhile my family needs to be photographed as well! This is my youngest son, his wife and their pup (my grand-dog). We took advantage of the amazing Fall colors outside this past weekend! I have to say this mom’s heart absolutely loves seeing her kid looked at with such love! They are clearly over the moon with each other!
