Fall Family Sessions
I am seeing a subtle shift from Class of 2023 Seniors to Families. Honestly, ever since the wonderful events of 2020 (sarcasm), I have seen a massive slow down with family sessions. It is so nice to see beautiful families in front of my camera again! This week I shot at my favorite local botanical garden, Moulton Falls and Fort Vancouver. All lovely places for Fall family sessions! The leaves are just barely starting their Fall show. I can’t wait to see all their brilliance! That’s good news for anyone considering a Fall session for this year. There is still time! I would love to see you and your family in front of my lens!
Daphney is 2!
I have had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful girl several times since she was born! It is so much fun watching little ones grow up and develop into the little humans they are. Daphney came to the studio last week and the horse was her favorite! I was happy to pick some of the pumpkins from my garden and with just a few other items we had a sweet set to photograph her in. You have to move quickly and be ready for whatever these little ones give you during their session. I love the unexpected! Yes, I have certain ideas in my head of what I hope will happen, but often, the unexpected is so much better!
Fall Family Session – The Grail Family
We met last Sunday morning for this beautiful family session. It was a beautiful sunny morning at the botanical garden. The Grail family showed up all dressed up with smiles ready to go! I always enjoy sessions with older siblings. It’s so fun to get them to interact with each other and find ways for the family to connect. We have been blessed with such amazing weather this Summer and Fall!
Fall Family Session – The Porters
Later in the day we headed up to Moulton Falls for the Porter Family. We had a lot of fun walking around this gorgeous park. With a high school Senior they felt it was the ideal time for family pictures! This location offers a lot of variety and some exercise so it is a lot of fun! We even got to watch people swimming. While I suggested they all jump into the water they opted out 🙂
Fall Family Session – The Dahl Family
This is my 3rd session with the beautiful Dahl family! I love having the opportunity to get to know my clients over time! I especially love seeing the changes in the kiddos and when they remember me its even better! While its unfortunate that we have a large fire burring in Clark County the smoke helped give us gorgeous light during this session. Our biggest challenge was Mr. Bentley their sweet pup. Those apples looked like tennis balls to him and he was having way too much fun with them! I count every shot with him looking at the camera as a huge victory!! Pets are always welcome and a fun addition to sessions.
Holiday Mini Sessions are Coming!!!
I already have several people on my waiting list that have expressed interest in signing up for holiday mini sessions! I am so excited to be offering this to everyone this year! In my mind it seems a bit soon to release the sign up but with the interest I have it may be sooner than I expected. Here are the details
- Santa will be there!
- Weather permitting there will be an indoor and outdoor sets – If the weather cooperates you can choose either set or a little of both!
- Date: Nov. 20th
- Times: There will be 20 min sessions offered all day
- Cost: $199 – this includes 5 digital images with the option to purchase addition ones
