Engagement – Shelly Fry Photography

I had the best time working with Max for his surprise engagement! We met about two weeks earlier. Honestly I was impressed with all the details he had planned out. Max was paying attention! He knew Katie’s nails would be done and had a plan to make sure she was dressed how she would want to be. He even made sure her sister was present.  The location was Mt. Tabor during golden hour.

Engagement - Mt. Tabor at golden hour

My job was to stay out of sight until the big moment was happening! I had so much fun sneaking around them taking a few shots (stalker mode) and then capturing such a sweet moment! The emotions of excitement and love were beautiful to witness!  Everything worked out perfectly! She was surprised, there were happy tears and the weather was perfect!

Following the proposal Katie, Max and I took some time for some formal portraits. Having beautiful images is such a great way to announce your engagement!

Congratulations Max and Katie!

Locations for engagements and any other photo shoot.

As far as locations go we are surrounded with so many amazing options! This was not my first time photographing at Mt. Tabor. I have also done a senior session there. It is such a beautiful park. As we left we noticed all the people there on the west side. Set up with picnics and obviously settled in to enjoy the sunset. I am definitely putting that on my to do list this summer!

Here is a link to my locations page. It is not an exhaustive list. For example Mt. Tabor isn’t on there but it does include some great ideas and helpful information. https://shellyfryphotography.com/locations

Are you considering a photo session this Summer? I’d love to chat with you.

Thanks for stopping by,

Shelly
