It’s really heating up out there! Can’t say I’m a fan of 100 degree heat but its coming ready or not!

Blogging has been a struggle lately – I have lost the rhythm of blogging 3xs a week. I will blame it on the heat, or summer, or life in general. Maybe it is writers block or burn out. Who knows? Regardless I have been fighting it for weeks.  😯  So bear with me as I try to push through and figure out what I’m doing here!

My View Today

The Fair was in town {my view today}. I have always loved the Clark County Fair. It’s just such a fun experience. It seems it is one of the things in life that hasn’t gotten too modernized. You can browse homemade quilts, pickles, flowers, veggies, watch dogs jump off a dock, eat cotton candy and deep fried snickers, you can watch cowboys ride bulls and monster trucks smash cars. You can spin until you are sick or wander through the venders as they try to charm you to spend your money with them. I haven’t even mentioned the animals yet! My favorite part! Horses, goats, llamas, pigs, cows, bunnies, dogs, etc. You can pay 4 bucks and shoot a paint gun at a target. The firemen are always there and sometimes you get to watch some crazy person jump off a tiny platform 30 feet in the air into a shallow pool!  It’s just good old fashion summer fun!

I didn’t get a picture of my {lunch} and we had breakfast food for dinner. So my {lunch} picture is of dinner even though it looks like breakfast  😆
