I would like the thank the Ermshar family for helping me get into the Christmas spirit. As you know I was holding onto Fall with both hands and my teeth… But it was this family’s family session that finally pushed me over the edge and full into the holiday season.
The Ermshars wanted their session to have a Christmas theme so they chose the perfect location -Tapaan’s Christmas Tree Farm off of 72nd – Which I would like to thank Tapaan Farms for being so generous with us – telling us to feel free to roam and shoot wherever we would like. And they even tracked me down after I left some equipment behind!
I loved the plaid and the red, the Christmas trees and fake snow – it was so fun!
Photo bomber…
I now have lights on my home, a tree in my house (yes Lucy has knocked it over) decorations around, candles burning (yes we have already had a small fire this year – Be careful with your candle placements!) And my Christmas cards are ordered! I have yet to buy a single gift…I guess I better get on that!
The problem with holding Christmas off until after Thanksgiving is that it is suddenly coming at you- and not gently trotting down the lane like a horse drawn carriage- No, it is coming at you like an out of control freight train!!!!!!! The trick is to not get caught up, remember to take deep breaths, enjoy moments, give yourself a break and focus on what truly is important!
The Same

I pull out {the same} ornaments each year. I love the history, the memories of them! My brother and I use to fight over who would hang this Santa on the tree…I don’t remember how I ended up with it but I’m happy it is on my tree each year
And with that picture I have completed 11 months of my Project 365! It looks like I’m going to make it! I’m excited that I have stuck with it and I look forward to printing an album of this years pictures
Winter

I know {winter} isn’t officially here for a few weeks but who are they kidding? It is COLD outside and the leaves are all gone and it’s December so therefor I declare it {winter}
Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate each one of you that take the time to read!
