Senior Shoot – Portland
Someone asked me recently if I ever wanted to shoot photo sessions in a studio. My answer is Nope! I’m 100% certain that individuals who shoot inside studios have a special gift and talent that I do not posses. Beyond that, the thought of having to stay inside, makes me shudder…
Having said that, there are certain benefits, to indoor shooting…
Brooke’s photo session was scheduled over a month ago and I had really been looking forward to it. Not just because I know and love her but because of the location she chose! So when I woke up to POURING down rain Sunday morning I was a tad bit discouraged. 😥
After a quick phone call the decision was to go for it! And I’m so glad we did! It would have been a cute session with umbrellas and rain but the rain actually stopped and we ended up with perfect weather!
Portland has always been my favorite city. I love it because within just a few blocks you can go from towering sky scrappers to .streets with lovely shops and then just a bit further you can be in the forest! And along the way you can stop by this lovely spot the Thurman Carriage Barn which dates from 1888.
Thank you Brooke and family for such a wonderful, fun senior session!
