June Bookings – Welcome to Phase 2
Can you feel it? There seems to be a shift in the air. A change in the vibe. As our country and state slowly begin to open up the dark cloud of oppression and fear seems to be lifting a bit. The weight of confinement is lifting along with our eminent move into Phase 2 of the process of reopening.
I am booking in June and it is very exciting. Senior Sessions are done outside with 4 people max and can be fewer. My normal social distancing for sessions is standing back 6 or more feet so there really aren’t any adjustments needed there.
Family groups + 5 are allowed and at most I have an assistant join me. We don’t need any contact during a session and again we are outside and beyond a safe distance.
I am confident I can offer a safe environment for family and senior sessions at this time. So if you are ready for a photo session I am ready to book!
In addition to June sessions ( I am only booking one month out at this time) I am also creating a Fall shoot wait list. I mentioned last week how crazy busy Fall is every year and I anticipate this Fall to be even busier. So if you think you, your family, your Class of 2021 Graduate would like a Fall session this year don’t hesitate to reach out to me to be put on the call back list.
I talked about this on last weeks blog. If you missed that check it out here https://shellyfryphotography.com/my-everyday/mothers-day-shelly-fry-photography
What I’m Photographing
I had the best weekend last week! We were able to visit my eldest son and his fiancee. Jocelyn is graduating from her University this year. Because she is a 2020 graduate we are taking extra effort to help her celebrate her accomplishment.
Because she’s family we did a Senior Session with her last week. We were blessed with gorgeous weather and of course she is gorgeous so the pictures are stunning! I especially love the pictures where she is surrounded by the orange poppies! Were were in a ditch on the side of the road!
What I’m Reading
My pace has slowed dramatically which is good because that means I’ve been busy.
Lady Clementine by Marie Benedict
This novel gives an interesting perspective of the relationship and marriage of Lady Clementine who was married to Winston Churchill. It is always intriguing and eye opening when the women who stand behind and sometimes beside the men in history are revealed. I’m not even halfway through this book but so far I’m enjoying reading about this woman who made significant contributions to her husbands career. I will rate this next week.
Happy Birthday Sweet Nora!!
My sweet Great-Niece is one today!! Man that went fast! I just saw a video of her taking some of her first shaky steps and it is so cute!!! I get to see her Saturday and I can’t wait!
Brave New World
As we slowly emerge from this hibernation we will be adjusting to our new norm. I am committed to offering safe, fun photo sessions. I believe my business has been safe all along. You will 100% have less exposure than going to the grocery store or Home Depot that’s for sure! When your ready I’m ready for you!
