Happy Valentine’s Day Friends
Here we are the day of LOVE. Whatever we all know it is nothing more than a highly effective marketing plan to get people to buy leftover Christmas chocolate and over priced cards. I am a huge fan of the flowers though!!!! Flowers are always a good idea and have the added effect of bringing on a bad case of spring fever!
In honor of this fake holiday I thought I would share some original and 100% genuine pictures which represent my top 10 favorites from last year. To me they each represent LOVE in their own way.

#10 – Ahh the love of an animal and its human is a powerful thing! I loved photographing the gorgeous Mia and her beautiful horse. This sweet picture always makes me smile.
#9 – Extended families are always a favorite of mine. Sometimes they are together only for a short time after traveling great distances or in the case of this lucky family they live nearby and get to spend time together on a regular basis.
#8 Weddings are an emotional event to photograph. I strive to capture images that show the love and excitement and desire to spend the rest of their lives together.
#7 Friendships are full of love and laughter. I had a blast photographing these two besties! They kept each other laughing constantly and I was thrilled to be able to capture some of the joy.
#6 – The love of a parent for their little ones is a precious thing to see. The pride and joy is such a beautiful thing to capture. Look at her confidence in her mama’s arms!
#5 – I loved this maternity session with first time parents Ashley and Josh! Their excitement of their soon to be little one was evident! They are now the proud parents of a beautiful 2 week old daughter. Congratulations!
#4 – Marilyn and Little Bob – Our little furry friends hold such a special place in our hearts! Marilyn approached me about doing a photo session with her furry friend when she knew she would have to be saying goodbye to him. The LOVE between these two brought me to tears.
#3 – These cousins live an ocean apart from each other but you would never have guessed it! This family session was extra special because of how far everyone had to travel. I love this picture! You can’t look at it without smiling and wondering where your puddle stompers are!
#2- Happy Anniversary – Long marriages move me deeply. All of the history and growing that takes place over the years is a beautiful thing! This family gathered around to celebrate 50 years of marriage and I had the honor of photographing them. I particularly love this image of the love birds with their natural smiles and the sun bursting through the trees. Happy 50th!
#1 – This picture is just precious! As much as I love capturing the love between parent and child how special it is to be loved by these little gifts given to us! This girl clearly loves her daddy!
