They simply don’t come any nicer than the Squires Family! I was thrilled when they asked me to take their family photos. Rumor had it that Dad wasn’t that excited about the prospect 😉 – but in the end he was grateful his wife “made” him do it. They are all to aware of how their young men are growing – no longer little boys.

And what fine young men they are! Friendly and easy to talk with they are also quick to offer help me carry things, folding blankets, basically always looking for ways to help.  😀

The Squires live near Lucia Falls which made for the perfect Fall location for our session.

I am loving these Fall sessions! I spent some time Sunday morning scouting locations for a family shoot next weekend. I was giddy with what I found! I can’t wait to photograph in such beautiful settings! I’m also excited to be doing my first family session in Hood River on Friday! I have had 3 families contact me in the past 24 hours asking about scheduling family sessions in time for Christmas cards. The answer is yes. But the window is getting smaller. If you are hoping to have pictures for your cards call me today!

Loving PDX in the Fall. I did a fun Family Session in the Pearl District last Friday. I will be blogging about it next week. After the session I just wandered…I have always loved the city! Then Sunday morning I begged my hubby to take me down there again – where we did more wandering…

This is my favorite pumpkin. I grew it in my garden and it weighs a ton! I love the color and shape! I planted about a dozen seeds and this is the one and only one that grew, making it even more special.  The leaves that fall off our dogwood are crazy colorful! I don’t care that only an hour after blowing the walk clear it is covered again. They are gorgeous! I love Fall!
