I have been invited for the past 3 years to be the photographer at a cousins wake-boarding, water-skiing, tubing, playing in the water – camp. It is a big beautiful family with a fantastic tradition that goes back at least 4 generations on this lake. Throughout the day I would hear the grown ups tell stories of how they nearly died doing various daredevil activities when they were kids. They were telling me these stories while occasionally yelling out to their own kids to be careful and not do such and such. Which made me smile.  😉 

It was a rough day ridding around on the back of a wave runner or a boat taking pictures. I even needed to be in the water a time or two. There was a close call when the wave runner I was riding almost tipped over which would have dumped me and my camera but thankfully we were saved.

I love having the opportunity to photograph families. It is such a truly special time when family can gather and spend time together. Making memories that last a life time.

This month my landscapes are up and representing me in a very public way at Lava Java in Ridgefield, WA. Yesterday I got another text from a friend who had stopped by Lava Java and sent me a pic of my pictures up. Always fun and I so appreciate everyone’s support and encouragement! You guys are the best!
