That went fast!!! While I have been a full time photographer for almost 3 years I moved into my little space in Old Town Battle Ground a year ago! At the time I had signed a 6 month lease and thought “why not?!” I’ll give it a whirl and if I have to close up at 6 months I will.
As I reflect back on the year there were a few times I really came close to closing and moving back home. Those cold dark days of winter can be scarily quiet for a photographer… 😯
Happily I didn’t and I am seeing the benefits of having my little space in town. Many people comment they have seen my signs/store – which helps with name recognition. Occasionally people just walk in while I’m here and ask about my services. Or just stop by for a visit which I LOVE! Yesterday a Senior from BG High and her mom came by and booked a Senior Session. All because her grandpa had noticed my office. 😀 It’s a great place to edit and meet with clients as well as display my landscapes {which can also be viewed/purchased at Morton’s on Main Street}
Many of you have purchased pictures, photo sessions and/or referred me to others and I’m so deeply appreciative! 😀
I’m thankful for my little space and I so appreciate everyone that has been supportive and helpful this past year! I probably should be having some sort of public celebration but I’m just not clever enough to come up with something. 😉
I am however, having another Landscape show at Lava Java (in Ridgefield) the month of September. 😀 I hope you will all stop by. I will be announcing an open house sometime {Sept 18th} during that month.
My hope is that one day I will move into a larger space where I can have a studio to shoot indoors with. But until that time I will be here – on the corner of NE 1st St and Grace – 😛
Project 365
It’s amazing to me how quickly this year is going by! Goodness it’s already August!
Summer Fun
214/366
It has been a long time since Josh was out on the lake with us which made this day extra special {summer fun} Sadly, Ty had to work. It’s getting harder and harder to get everyone together.
Colorful
215/366
Even a bug can look pretty in the right {colorful} setting.
Enjoy the Sunshine! Even if you have to hang your head out the window while you drive. 😆
