Oh my goodness!!! Talk about patience! Sweet Katie waited 8 years for the man of her dreams to get down on one knee. But the day finally arrived as they were cruising somewhere between the Cayman Islands and Ft. Lauderdale. While in the middle of the Sea Chase asked her to be his wife. 🙂 Katie puts a beautiful twist on the long journey by writing “we’ve spent the last eight years making sure we are perfect for each other and we’re very excited for our wedding in November.”
We had a blast at yesterdays shoot but the weather kept us on our toes! All day I was sweating it! One minute I would moan and see the black skies and pouring rain and the next bright sun and warmth! What would happen during our session? I offered Katie the option of rescheduling even at the last minute but she said let’s go for it!

But happily the rain held off and we were able to take advantage of the beautiful lush green that is sprouting up in these woods!
Chase was one of my students in high school. He was up to no good most of the time so I was thrilled to have him at my mercy during our photo session 😆
Thank you Chase and Katie (mostly Katie! Chase just does what he is told 😉 ) I really appreciate the opportunity to be your photographer. A day at the beach with all three of my boys = {happiness} 😆 We were blessed with awesome weather and it was just so nice to hang together! It did this momma’s heart good!
