Hope and Will

Wedding morning dawned with smokey hazy air and a fiery red sunrise. A perfect beginning to this couples wedding day! What a blessing to share in my lovely niece’s big day.  I don’t think I have ever seen a more excited bride! These two are simply head over heals in love with each other! They are thrilled that the rest of their lives will be spent in a perfect partnership built on the promises they made to each other. Will is strong, patient and generous with his time and energy for Hope. Hope has always been the caretaker and is thrilled to be there for Will. Sigh….  😀

Prior to the wedding we headed over to Whitman Mission for a photo shoot. We had a brief run-in with a park ranger -who was disgruntled that I didn’t have a permit- but thankfully my niece and I are a formidable pair when we are trying to talk someone into letting us get our way  😆

The smokey air, the golden fields, the stunning bride and handsome groom – perfection!

And they lived happily ever after…

Needless to say my Project 365 photo prompts fell by the wayside…But I did take a picture each day –

Not a fan of this picture – but it’s {a selfie} I appreciated my chauffeur as we drove home today. We have been running all over the place this summer, which means we have spent way too much time in the car! So I decided to take {a selfie} of what Sunday afternoons have been like lately!  😕

Praying for our firefighters out there and for some rain for our poor state! It seems the whole place is burning up!
