Shelly Fry Photography – Summer 2026

After 17 days of traveling, I’m happy to be home! We had a fantastic trip, and I loved the opportunity to see that part of the world. We visited Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Estonia! One of my “things” is to keep track of where I’ve been. With this trip, I can now say that I have been to 30 countries (yes, that does count the USA).

We rode planes, trains, buses, trams, funiculars, ferry boats, sail boats and bikes! We got around. My favorite was riding bikes through Copenhagen, up the valley from Flam in Norway and exploring Stockholm. You can cover so much ground and it’s so much easier on your body!  We did mostly use our feet. Often walking 8-10 miles a day. There is so much to see!

I have been passionate about travel since I was a young kid with zero travel opportunities. Every time I have the opportunity to travel (anywhere), I feel so excited and blessed! Thankfully, I also feel excited and blessed to be back home. We landed at PDX on Sunday. With a 10-hour time difference, it has been a challenge to get back to my home schedule. All week I’ve been trying to stay up later. The first night, it was a real struggle to stay up until 7pm. Then I was awake at 3:30am.  Last night I stayed up until 9:30! Progress is being made.

Along with trying to get my body back into the rhythm of life here at home, I have used my early mornings to design and order two albums, finish and deliver a gallery as well as other photography tasks that were waiting for me to return.

SFP – I’m excited to get back to photography!

I have my first post-vacation photo session tonight, and I’m really looking forward to working with tonight’s senior.

Speaking of senior sessions, I know there may be some Class of 2027 grads still looking to book their photo sessions this Fall. I do still have some availability. I would love to get you on my schedule. Don’t hesitate to reach out. I have three different packages to meet different styles and budgets. Here is a link to the pricing page on my website https://shellyfryphotography.com/investment-in-photography-is-investing-in-something-that-will-last

I’m back, and I’m excited about my upcoming sessions this late summer/early fall season.  In the next couple of weeks I have several family and senior sessions to look forward to. I’m also available for any studio work people may need.

Here are a few of the hundreds of photos I took while we were gone.

Also on my to do list,  make an album of this trip. Thank goodness photography was invented! I love having photos to look back on and share with others! I know I’m much better at looking at my photos once they are printed. It’s amazing how quickly they get forgotten when they only live on my phone.

If you need a photographer I’m here for you!
